Stockholm: Skyline International strongly condemns the recent forced evacuations and human rights violations perpetrated by the Israeli military in Beit Hanoun and Jabalia, located in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to reports from the Gaza government , the Israeli occupation army conducted a military operation targeting Beit Hanoun and the eastern Jabalia region, with the apparent objective of emptying these areas. This operation, conducted under the cover of violent artillery shelling and airstrikes, saw the advancement of bulldozers and tanks towards shelter centers in Beit Hanoun. The Mahdia al-Shawa School, serving as a refuge for hundreds of displaced individuals, was besieged, and its occupants were subjected to coercion and intimidation. Women were forced to remove their hijabs, men were stripped of their outer clothing, and families were compelled to flee their homes. Several young men were arrested during the operation.

Simultaneously, Palestinian media sources reported similar violations, including the forced expulsion of women and children from Beit Hanoun and the detention and mistreatment of young men by Israeli forces.

In a disturbing revelation, the government media office disclosed the discovery of a mass grave within the courtyard of the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City. The grave contained the bodies of Palestinians allegedly executed by the Israeli army during its recent military operation in the hospital.

Skyline International denounces these egregious actions as clear violations of international humanitarian law and fundamental human rights principles. The forced evacuation of civilian populations, along with the reported abuses and executions, constitutes serious breaches of the right to life, dignity, and freedom from arbitrary detention.

We express our grave concern over the deteriorating situation in Beit Hanoun and Jabalia. The indiscriminate use of force, the targeting of civilian infrastructure, and the apparent disregard for the lives and well-being of civilians are reprehensible and must be unequivocally condemned by the international community.

Skyline International calls on the United Nations, relevant human rights organizations, and the international community to intervene immediately to halt these violations, ensure the protection of civilians, and hold those responsible for such atrocities accountable. Additionally, we urge all parties involved to prioritize dialogue and peaceful resolution to the conflict, respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals affected by the ongoing violence.

As an independent news organization committed to transparency and accountability, Skyline International remains dedicated to documenting and reporting on human rights abuses worldwide, amplifying the voices of the oppressed, and advocating for justice and dignity for all.
